Let’s End the Stigma around occupational stress injuries

THE RIDE OF HOPE

The Ride of Hope is an awareness campaign, in conjunction with the Heroes Project and Legacy Place Society.

We all have seen an increase in first responder suicides over the past few years which not only affects their families, their organizations but the communities they serve.

So let’s help end the stigma around occupational stress injuries by openly talking about our mental health and to encourage post traumatic growth.

The Ride of Hope will cover a distance of 8,821 Kilometers in 21 days starting in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The ride will take us through several northern Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon Territory communities to the Arctic Circle and back through the Canadian Rockies.

The ride will stop at the Legacy Place Tribute Memorial Garden & Guest House in Calgary, which honors our First Responders, Veterans, and Military personnel. The journey will continue north through Edmonton and end where it all started back in Grande Prairie.
