Ride of Hope

TRAIL TO ARCTIC CIRCLE FOR FIRST RESPONDERS MENTAL HEALTH

Clarence and his support team will be riding north from Alberta through the Muskwa-Kechika Wilderness in Northern British Columbia, into the Yukon through Dawson City, Inuvik, Tukoyatuk, to the Arctic Circle and Arctic Ocean.

As he rides, he hopes to help raise awareness around the stigma of occupational stress injuries within the first responder communities. Clarence will sit down one-on-one with other first responders during the documentary filming and talk candidly about their own personal journeys when dealing with their mental health.

The Heroes Project hope is that we will be able to take this documentary short film and submit it to an upcoming Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour with your support.  So please follow along this incredible journey and we hope you will donate to this amazing cause!

Adventure — that inexplicable and magical thing — is at the heart of what it means to be human. It is worthwhile and good for the soul. And good for mental health.

Sometimes you backtrack because you think what you dropped or lost is worth going back to, but then again you cannot keep going backwards, so you get back on the forward track to finish your journey.
